"At the end of the day, we got the docs," Kelly Wakasa says at the lawyer's office. Not the most romantic souvenir, perhaps, but the paperwork makes it official: he and ur mom ashley have bought their first home together.

Their vlog, "we bought a house," drew more than 300,000 views in seven hours. The comments had already reached nearly three times the number a regular upload usually receives across its whole first day. Viewers keep returning to the same arc: they watched Ashley and Kelly as roommates, then as a couple, and now as homeowners.

As we reported here, their earlier apartment-hunting video followed the search around New York City. This installment supplies the answer, then follows the less glamorous steps between an accepted offer and a set of keys: mortgage calculations, loan calls, an inspection and closing documents. Ashley says more than two months passed after their offer was accepted.

Despite the word "house" in the title, their purchase is an apartment, complete with a large private balcony. The empty-space walkthrough gives way to roses and sparkling cider from Kelly, followed by friends and family coming over to explore and watch fireworks from the roof.

The family tour also brings a small, very sibling-like interruption to the milestone: Ashley's brother Andrew visits and accidentally pulls down a window shade.
