Typical Gamer promises to stream until he finds Fortnite's pirate token
His latest pledge follows a pirate-token broadcast that drew roughly half a million views, with viewers comparing notes on the search.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 461,404 views a day, 7.5 times a normal first day on this channel (61,138).
🔴 LIVE! - FINDING the *PIRATE TOKEN* in FORTNITE! (BEST METHOD)
Finding Fortnite's pirate token has become a running assignment for Typical Gamer, and his next stream comes with a firmer commitment: he says he isn't ending it until he finds one.
That November 6 broadcast follows a stream billed as offering the "BEST METHOD," which drew about 460,000 views in its first day. That's more than seven times the usual first-day audience for his long videos and live streams.
The hunt belongs to Fortnite's One Piece Treasure Hunters mini season. Typical Gamer has carried it through several broadcasts, including the FNCS tournament session we reported here. The new title puts the search itself back at the center, with no tournament detour promised.
In the comments on the previous stream, viewers are still asking whether he found the token. Others compare their own searches, and one disputes whether breaking an already-opened chest helps, pointing to the quest counter. Another describes falling asleep during the broadcast and waking to find it still running. For that viewer, at least, the treasure hunt lasted through a night's sleep.
