Seventeen days old and two words long, "only wax" is the TOP KUTS video still pulling the most daily views, about a thousand a day. The title promises one product and nothing else, and the hashtags fill in the rest: barbershop, haircut, barbero, the self-made barber life.

Nothing new went up over the past seven days, and the chair hardly cooled. The channel is running a touch above its usual pace, with two older shorts helping. One is "eyebrows," which tags itself #rap alongside the clippers. The other carries an Arabic title, "انا عراقي" ("I am Iraqi"), and has passed 28,000 views in about a month.

With 1.26 million subscribers and more than a billion lifetime views, TOP KUTS sits in the upper half of the beauty, skincare and hair channels around its size. The loud weeks belong to others: DermAngelo and Lavish Krish are running well beyond their usual levels, and Leanne Page has roughly tripled hers. jbalwaysfresh, another barber-world name, is as calm as TOP KUTS.

The about line keeps it short too: "Experience the difference," and a nod to a much bigger TikTok following, 2.8 million by the channel's own count.
