Close to a billion lifetime views sit behind Elliot Forbes, a barbering ASMR channel whose about text promises haircuts to help you chill out, relax, destress and sleep. Nothing new went up this week, so the older work kept the clippers buzzing.

The busiest of it is "First Shave In 6 Months #asmr," a short posted nearly three years ago that has passed ten million views and still draws a few thousand more each day. Half a year of beard coming off in one sitting turns out to be the kind of thing people keep finding.

Behind it come two summer uploads from about six weeks ago: "Hat Hair To Curly Hair Fully Styled," a flattened mop brought back to life, and "Extra Crunchy 🫜 #asmrshaving," which makes its sound the headline. Both are moving at a far gentler pace than the old shave, but they are the newest things doing steady work.

The subscriber count held at around 2.09 million. Among the beauty and hair channels nearest in size, Matt Randon and Audrey Victoria are having big stretches, both well above their usual pace, and Aspyn Ovard is running at more than double hers. Fellow barbers Mo's Barbers and Sly Huncho sit just above Elliot in subscribers, so the clipper corner of this group is a crowded and friendly one.
