Does a lighter, rear-wheel-drive M3 with a manual gearbox sound like the obvious enthusiast choice? Top Gear gives Jethro Bovingdon that question in "New BMW M3 CS Manual! The Perfect M3? | 4K," with price providing the less comfortable half of the proposition. The review has reached nearly half a million views since Wednesday.
It's the fresh arrival in a three-upload week whose biggest draw remains "Flat Out In The 1800hp V16 Bugatti Tourbillon! | 4K," now at roughly 2.8 million views. Ollie Marriage's visit offers more than a passenger-seat soundtrack: Mate Rimac walks him through exposed chassis, tightly packed cooling systems and 3D-printed components before taking him onto French roads.
Rimac's explanation turns the usual combustion-versus-electric argument sideways. "Basically, the hybrid is there to make this bonkers engine possible," he says. Later, he demonstrates another personal requirement: the Tourbillon must drift. Viewers are discussing the engine's sound and the contrast between Rimac's electric-car background and his commitment to this naturally aspirated V16.
The third upload, "Ad feature: How AITO Is Redefining Luxury," is an advertisement for AITO, covering its Paris Motor Show appearance and planned European arrival. Together, these three releases also occupy the channel's busiest spots right now, with the Bugatti attracting the most daily views.
Top Gear added subscribers over the week, while its daily viewing is a little above its usual pace. Among nearby motoring channels, carwow had a particularly substantial week for views and subscriber growth; ChrisFix and Donut recorded no subscriber gain. Top Gear's own newest review keeps the engineering question pleasingly hands-on: fewer driven wheels, a manual gearbox and a chassis built for track work.
