Video taking off 16x its usual first day

Toni and Ryan's laser-pointer clip takes an unexpectedly human turn

A cat seems set up for the payoff, but a headfirst dive leaves Toni gasping and Ryan laughing.

Toni and Ryan Story of October 22, 2026Trari Newsroom

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 195,320 views a day, 16 times a normal first day on this channel (12,150).

BE CAREFUL WITH THAT LASER 😱

The cat is chasing a red dot across a living-room rug. Then the laser moves onto someone standing nearby, and an entirely different participant launches headfirst across the floor into them.

Above the borrowed clip, Toni Lodge covers her mouth. Ryan Jon bursts into laughter. This is a reaction video, with the source handle @kaedobrien shown on screen, rather than a stunt performed by the podcast hosts.

"I did not see that coming," Toni says.

"Neither did they!" Ryan replies.

That exchange gives the short its second punchline, and viewers are picking up on it: several comments single out Ryan's comeback or the sudden switch from a cat chase to a human dive.

The upload drew roughly 183,000 views in its first 21 hours, far beyond the channel's usual opening for Shorts. It also has company: a name-matching game and a clip presenting a choice between Helvetica, Comic Sans and Times New Roman both made unusually fast starts.

For a duo whose most-watched regular uploads include several "TRY NOT TO LAUGH" videos, this time Ryan doesn't come close to keeping a straight face.
