Brandon Spikes brings Will Compton and Taylor Lewan right to the point where a practice argument is supposed to become a locker-room fight. Then he stops talking about what happened.

The former NFL linebacker is recalling his Buffalo Bills days on Bussin' With The Boys. In his telling, he was disrupting plays on the second team when Richie Incognito told him to follow the scout card and do his assigned job. Spikes wasn't interested in making a block look good at his expense.

Spikes says Incognito shoved him in the back, and he responded by promising a fight once they were away from the cameras. Even a warning from coach Rex Ryan about a fine couldn't change his mind.

Then comes the cutoff: "Be ready to fight, and I'm going to leave it at that." The hosts burst out laughing. Spikes knows exactly what he's done: "You see how I reeled them in right there?"

The Short reached about 120,000 views in nine hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day turnout for the format. Viewers are talking about the abrupt ending, while several ask for Spikes to have a regular seat on the show.

His appearance is producing more than this unfinished story. Separate Shorts about Cam Newton at Florida and Spikes' claim that entering the NFL meant taking a pay cut are also drawing unusually strong starts. A longer clip returns to another practice confrontation, this time involving Tim Tebow and coach Urban Meyer.
