"Everybody bleeds," Taylor Lewan says at the start of a college-football recap built around fallen favorites. For Lewan and Will Compton, the upsets raise a bigger question: how much should a conference's reputation count when the results keep challenging it?
Their Bussin' With The Boys episode drew roughly 20,000 views in seven hours, already well beyond the usual full-day audience for the channel's regular videos. The comment section was also nearly five times as busy as a typical first day, with playoff expansion giving viewers something substantial to argue about.
Compton and Lewan make the case that the Big 12 is the most competitive conference, then question whether SEC teams receive too much benefit of the doubt in the AP rankings. That argument gives the episode a thread beyond its game-by-game reactions: a familiar name should not automatically outweigh what happens on the field.
Notre Dame's defeat at BYU becomes a test of that thinking. Lewan praises BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier's performance, and the crew later returns to whether Notre Dame still has a viable route into the College Football Playoff. In the comments, one viewer argues that expanding the field would make weekends like this less consequential, because defeated contenders would have more protection.
The episode includes paid sponsor segments. Between the football arguments, there is also footage of Tennessee defensive coordinator Jim Knowles dancing in the locker room and Lewan's account of getting caught by an older Texas Tech fan's joke.
Compton takes a more patient line with Nebraska. Reviewing its narrow losses to Indiana and Oregon, he argues against panic over Matt Rhule, pointing to the uncertainty across college football rather than treating those defeats as a verdict on the program.

This weekend was not an argument for 24 team playoff. If we had a 24 team playoff this weekend wouldn’t have even mattered. Everyone that just lost is still safe. Now, everyone that just lost has a whole lot less margin of error now and that’s a good thing. It’s ok for a good team to get left out of the playoff if they don’t take care of business during the season.
@Vol-BallSee it on YouTubeWas refreshing every 3 minutes for the past hour waiting for this. Best part of a Monday.
@aaronthiele2581See it on YouTubeCome on Skers!! We’re still good! Hate how much people are reacting to Nebraska losing. We all predicted these two losses in the beginning of the year but they’re performing better than previously expected. There’s a bright side. Let’s go get the next three dubs and see what we can do against the last 2.
