Man City APPEAL to COLLAPSES & Fans SNAP! City Fans PRAISE CHEATING! Mark Goldbridge SLAMS CITY!
The Football Terrace crossed 250 million lifetime views over the seven days. It got there by talking about almost nothing but Manchester City.
The channel calls itself the first multi-club podcast and fan channel, built on the Premier League's top six. This week it narrowed that to one club. Every upload circled City's case: the appeal, the punishments being floated, the ownership and Pep Guardiola's legacy. Fifteen videos went up, and the most watched was a reaction compilation. Its chapters move from City fans such as Big Steve and Esteemed Kompany accepting the verdict to Mark Goldbridge's response, before the video ends on a question about the 2017/18 Centurions. Commenters keep coming back to the size of the Etihad sponsorship deal, to Everton's points deduction as a comparison, and to whether Guardiola could really have known nothing.
The long shows filled the rest of the week. Terry Flewers and the panel took superchats and calls, and the clips drew on Simon Jordan, Gary Neville and tax lawyer Dan Neidle along the way. The newest uploads are the busiest right now: a show on a sponsor story and the appeal, and a legal expert billed as saying City have already lost.
All of it ran the channel well above its usual daily pace. Among football channels of similar size it sits fourth for views added. FutbolEssence and Zedsnap had the big weeks. The Rest Is Football and Rory Jennings, who turns up in one of these titles himself, were quieter than usual.
