Video taking off 6.2x its usual first day

Money, Lucia's backstory and the American Dream: TGG reads the new GTA 6 interviews

The fresh Jason and Lucia screenshot opens the video, and the most liked comment is about how quickly TGG had it edited and online.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 719,490 views a day, 6.2 times a normal first day on this channel (116,648).

Speed paid off. When a new magazine feature on GTA 6 arrived with developer interviews and a fresh screenshot of Jason and Lucia, TGG had a 16-minute walkthrough of it up within hours. The most liked comment under it is simply about how fast the editing was. Nineteen hours in, the video had about 650,000 views, on a channel where a new upload usually ends its first day near 120,000.

The chapters follow the feature closely. There is the screenshot, then how money and family push the story forward, Jason's background and the choices players make, how Lucia was written and how she gets along with Jason, and a character named Raul who is tied to bigger heists. Later chapters cover how the team researched Florida for the game's satire, its political campaign calls and radio, and the chatter of the people on its streets.

Viewers zeroed in on two moments. One is a developer's remark about having just made a western, which several people point out means Red Dead Redemption 2, a game that came out in 2018. The other is the American Dream section, where many stop to correct a misreading: the point, they explain, is that today's version of the dream is a home, paid-off loans and a family, not that Jason and Lucia are stuck with those bills. Others are just counting down, 44 days, which lands on November 19, the date Rockstar set when it delayed the game in late 2025.

This is the third straight day of GTA 6 coverage on the channel. Sunday's video on the game's adult ratings drew even more views, and the whole channel is pulling more than four times its usual daily traffic. Two of the other titles from these days, "I Saw GTA 6. Can It Live Up to the Hype?" and "What Surprised Me Most When I Saw GTA 6," say TGG has seen the game for himself.
