Game Informer's GTA 6 reveal lifts TGG to a busy Tuesday

GTA 6 news, twice over. When Game Informer put out its exclusive look at Rockstar's next game, TGG answered with two videos on the same day: a live reveal stream and a tidier rundown of what came out of it. The billing covers twelve screenshots, weather events including hurricanes, theme parks, 170 animals and details about the map. Both are moving far faster than anything else on the channel. The stream came close to 700,000 views in about ten hours.

The rest of the week had set the table. Before the reveal there was an unboxing of the GTA 6 Collector's Box, which the title admits was not what he expected, and "The Rockstar Games Iceberg, Explained." The iceberg is the one older video still gathering steady attention three days on. The routine GTA Online weekly update, with its double money and free nightclub, rounded out five uploads.

The channel as a whole is running at well over twice its usual daily pace, and new subscribers are arriving at a brisk clip. Among the shooter and battle-royale channels near its size, that stands out. DarkViperAU, More Lachlan, TenZ and MrDalekJD were all below their own usual pace. For TGG, a week of Rockstar talk turned into a crowd when Rockstar finally had something new to show.
