Active Matter, a horror extraction shooter, lures Blooprint away from Rust
The week's only upload, edited from his Twitch streams by Leyenda, has passed 54,000 views, while a Rust duo with xkevv sits above 800,000.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
This TACTICAL Extraction Game has a CRAZY TWIST (Active Matter)
Blooprint, best known for his Rust highlights, spent his one upload of the week somewhere else entirely. "This TACTICAL Extraction Game has a CRAZY TWIST (Active Matter)" drops him into a shooter that, in his own description, mixes horror and tactical play across a multidimensional world. The tags place it among the games people try after Escape from Tarkov.
The comment section reads like a crowd of people who got there first. Several say they played Active Matter in its alpha, beta or console playtest, and they arrive with tips: jump in the water at the port crane instead of running back, put a weapon in the safe container, try the PvE quests if the start feels rough. Others hope it becomes one of the channel's regular games.
Rust is still doing plenty of the work. "I've NEVER SEEN a META work THIS GOOD - Rust (Duo ft. xkevv)", his first session with xkevv on a fresh wipe built around the water, oil rigs and cargo ships, is past 800,000 views and draws nearly as many daily viewers as the new video. A solo start in Rust's new apartment complex, from August, keeps finding people too.
Overall the channel is running at about half its usual daily pace, which is in line with an about page that promises uploads every five to ten days. Most of the shooter channels around his size are below their usual pace as well, Westie and Bub Games among them. TheXclusiveAce and LEGIQN are the ones having big weeks.
