Technology Connections posted just one video, and it is part of a series now big enough to have its own playlist. "Engines haven't been fully mechanical in decades - and that's good!" picks up the channel's long run on engine management, and its description sums up the thesis in four words: "Beep boop. Engine better now." Five days in, it is past a million views and still easily the busiest thing on the channel.

Behind it, two older videos keep ticking along at a gentle, nearly identical pace. One is his water heater video, a 45-minute tour of a heat pump install with chapters on winter, the math and the "catch" with 120V models. The other is "Nobody understands the point of hybrid cars," nearly five months old and closing in on three million views. Taken together with the new upload, that is a lot of patient explaining of machines people use every day and rarely think about.

Among science and experiments channels of similar size, Technology Connections sits fifth by subscribers. Hank Green is the one having a big week, running at close to double his usual pace, and Astrum is also busier than normal.
