Ramayana: Rise of a Legend - New Trailer - Only In Cinemas November 5

Rama makes his promise explicit: wherever Lanka is hidden, he will find it. That vow anchors the Hindi-language trailer for Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, which has drawn more than 1.5 million views in its first 16 hours on Sony Pictures Releasing UK.

It is an exceptionally fast start for a short upload on this channel. But the conversation underneath is about more than scale. Viewers are comparing the Hindi dialogue and English subtitles with the earlier English-language trailer, discussing how the lines land in each version. Some also single out Rama's portrayal as a warrior.

This cut lays out the conflict through a Hindi voiceover: a boon from Brahma gives Ravana immense power, conquest upsets the cosmic balance, and Vishnu takes human form as Rama to restore Dharma. Celebrations and rituals with Sita give way to mystical airships, burning landscapes and armies colliding. Rama's pledge to reach Lanka leads into a rapid montage of battles and arrows.

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, with Nitesh Tiwari directing and Namit Malhotra producing. Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman share the music credit, a notable pairing behind a trailer built around gods, kingdoms and a confrontation spanning the three realms.

The upload is an official promotional trailer for the film's November 5 theatrical release. Unlike a teaser that holds its premise back, this version spells out both Ravana's ambition to rule and Rama's determination to stop him.
