Mom has countermoves. Sofi Manassyan tries out a series of martial arts and dance movements beside her mother, Olga, who bats her away without putting down her phone.

The comedy Short cuts between Chinese instructional footage and Sofi's attempts to reproduce it in a rooftop parking garage. First comes a dodge step, then a kicking movement. Sofi treats the space around her mother as her practice area; Olga responds by trying to reclaim it.

The sketch has reached roughly 5.8 million views in 14 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short. Another upload from the same day, tagged with @kaidoleeroberts429, is also drawing an unusually large audience.

Here, the comments turn Olga's reactions into a second martial arts demonstration: viewers joke about her instincts and her commitment to the phone. Others single out the kick or catch Sofi laughing during her own routine. By the energetic folk-dance section, Olga is laughing too, dodging while playfully trying to swat her daughter away.
