"God knows what's inside my shop, but I can't even get inside my shop right now," a speaker from Geraldo's in Largs says as Storm Boelo's floodwater fills the street outside.
Daily Record's report brings the damage down to street level: water surging past storefronts at night, a flooded restaurant kitchen and police closing a coastal road as waves break over sea defenses. The warnings that preceded the storm have become disrupted businesses, blocked routes and rescue work.
The video had drawn about 126,000 views in 13 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for a regular report. Separate Shorts covering power outages and a trampoline blowing down a Scottish street also drew unusually large audiences for their format.
In Largs, the camera goes inside the flooded Tha-Tien-Thai restaurant. Footage from Loch Lomond shows a boat rescue in darkness, before the report moves to waves battering Blackpool's pier and emergency services attending roof damage at a sports bar.
Along the A78 near Skelmorlie, police cordon off the coastal road while seawater overtops the barriers. The report's later footage shows people and dogs on Constantine Beach in Cornwall, with RNLI lifeguard vehicles monitoring the shore and flags torn by the wind.
