You're Washing Your Dishes Wrong

SciShow put out five videos, and they wander nicely: dishes, ketamine, the best knife, anteaters, and then "Hank Green Asks a Volcanologist Anything". That last one, posted Thursday, is the youngest of the week that still has a full day behind it, and it is running away with the pace. Its first day was strong, and a day later it is still adding views faster than anything else on the channel.

The early-week uploads have settled into a steadier groove. "You're Washing Your Dishes Wrong" holds the biggest total of the new batch, past 400,000, with "What Does Ketamine Actually Do?" close behind and moving at almost exactly the same daily clip. "Why Do Things Keep Evolving Into Anteaters?" opened briskly and has since cooled.

The quiet overachiever is older. "Scientists Can't Agree On The First Ancient City", ten days old, has passed two million views and is still the channel's second-busiest video, well ahead of everything new except the volcano talk.

Among the science and experiment channels, SciShow sits sixth of nine by subscribers, just behind ElectroBOOM and Cleo Abram, who are packed close together a small step above it.
