The old gate was being held up by the very vines Spencer had come to remove. Clearing this backyard meant more than cutting back the greenery: with dogs on the property, he built the homeowner a replacement gate too.
That extra job belongs to SB Mowing's only upload this week, "It took THREE DAYS to uncover what was hiding back here", which has passed 406,000 views. The homeowner had emailed photographs of the yard she inherited from her grandparents. Beneath the overgrowth were rock-lined flower beds and a pond with a waterfall she had helped build as a child.
Access made the work harder. A stone entrance arch kept large equipment out, leaving Spencer to cut and hand-load the brush. He trims the narrow paths, pulls vines from decorative stonework and gradually exposes the garden underneath. The family helped drag brush between visits. The video also includes a promotional segment for a tool attachment.
Viewers are picking out the newly cleared space around the air-conditioning unit, the hidden landscaping and the homeowners pitching in. Several reckon this was a job that called for another pair of hands.
Across the channel, viewing is close to its usual daily level, with roughly 1.7 million views added over the week and subscribers unchanged. The Lawn Tools had a much larger viewing week in the surrounding home-and-DIY group. For SB Mowing, the new cleanup is the strongest daily draw, while October's roadside-property restoration and buried-walkway cleanup continue to bring in views.

Why does Spencer build a replacement gate during this cleanup?
Spencer says the old gate was held up by vines, so he builds a new one because the homeowners have dogs.
