The warning came on the house tour. Before Spencer had started a single mower on his one new job, the owners told him a colony of bees lived inside the garage wall, right where the work needed to happen.
The yard belonged to a woman's late parents, and her dad had been serious about landscaping. The description says their backyard was even featured in a magazine in the late '90s. After her parents died it grew past what she could manage, so Spencer offered to do it for free. A friend named Jamie, who once worked on a landscape crew, flew in to help. Beekeepers advised leaving the hive alone, because it had been storing honey all season and a move before winter would likely kill it. So the bees stay put until spring, when Spencer plans to adopt them and bring them to his own property under the name the SBees. By the end of the day, the paths her father laid out decades ago were visible again.
It was the only upload of the week, and in six days it reached roughly 445,000 views. It is also the channel's busiest video right now, pulling in about twice as many daily views as a seven-week-old cleanup for a man who was injured and could no longer manage his yard. That older video has passed 1.5 million views.
