A late restaurant reservation counts as a small triumph in Ryland Adams's tour diary. Emma gets the group into Chicago's Ralph Lauren restaurant at short notice, making room for shrimp cocktail, burgers and a brownie before Shane Dawson's live show.

Ryland vlogs posted nothing new this week, but "This Changed Our Lives…" has reached roughly 355,000 views and remains its busiest upload right now. As we reported here, it followed October's friend makeover. The title's broad promise contains a fairly specific itinerary: flights, hotel rooms, family breakfasts and two stops on his husband's tour.

Lilly Van der Meer, introduced as the lead of Shane's pilot, joins the Boston flight. Ryland meets his mother Vicki and sister Morgan for breakfast, then documents the show's premiere and a rainy late-night walk. Chicago supplies another sort of after-show ritual: deep-dish pizza in the hotel suite at one in the morning. The vlog also includes a sponsored ready-meal segment.

The channel collected about half a million views over the week, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is currently well below its usual level, though the tour vlog continues to draw substantially more attention than the friend makeover and September's house-decorating upload.

Back in Los Angeles, the next task is less glamorous than a theater premiere: replacing outdated acting headshots. Ryland plans a JCPenney Portraits session with his podcast co-host Elizabeth, bringing the travel diary back to an everyday appointment.
