Meat, potatoes and a watermelon at Royal Cooking's Georgian table
A market visit and homemade churchkhela round out the channel's only new upload.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
A Day with Kind People That You Never Want to End
A watermelon makes an unexpected cooking vessel for Royal Cooking's latest dinner: meat and potatoes go inside it to bake. The Georgian visit continues the channel's travel chapter, but this time walnut chicken gives way to a market outing, homemade sweets and dinner with rain falling outside.
"A Day with Kind People That You Never Want to End" has drawn roughly 449,000 views since its October 16 release. It is the week's only new upload and the channel's strongest source of daily viewing right now. Among the comments about food and scenery, one viewer singles out the markets as somewhere they could happily get lost. That is a different sort of attraction from the enormous roasts familiar to regular viewers.
Those roasts haven't gone anywhere. The September Short "Whole Beef Leg Roasted for 14 Hours 🔥" continues drawing attention, as does August's "Shah Pilaf, But There's More Meat Than Rice". The latter packs beef tongue and bone-in steaks beneath a crisp crust, with rice almost relegated to supporting duty, according to the description.
Royal Cooking added 10,000 subscribers over the week, and its daily views are running above their usual level. Nearby food channels had varied weeks: Sweet Impact saw a particularly sharp daily lift, while You Suck At Cooking was closer to its normal pace. For Royal Cooking, the newest draw is a meal whose company gets equal billing with the cooking.
