Cleaning sprays join Protect Our Plates' supermarket scrutiny
The channel's only new upload shifts from food labels to household cleaners, disinfectants and premium eco bottles.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
11 UK CLEANING SPRAY Brands to AVOID and 5 That Are Actually Safe!
The shopping list expanded. Protect Our Plates posted one new video, turning its brand-by-brand scrutiny toward cleaning sprays rather than the contents of the pantry.
"11 UK CLEANING SPRAY Brands to AVOID and 5 That Are Actually Safe!" drew about 8,000 views in its first 22 hours. The description questions citrus sprays used in poorly ventilated kitchens, the value of premium eco bottles and disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium compounds. Those safe-or-avoid judgments are the channel's assessments. In the comments, viewers discuss scented household products and familiar alternatives such as vinegar and baking soda; one also asks for shorter videos.
Food remains the bigger daily draw. The September flour video has reached roughly 434,000 views and currently brings in more views a day than the new cleaning upload. Its focus is supermarket ingredient lists, flour fortification and price differences. The M&S own-brand comparison also continues drawing viewers, with ketchup and lasagne among the products under discussion.
Subscribers grew over the week, although the channel's current daily views are well below its usual pace. Across the nearby health channels, ADHD Love had a particularly substantial viewing week, while BrainCraft and Snake Diet were quieter. Protect Our Plates itself added more than three-quarters of a million views, mostly with no new upload to do the work.
