The staged sketch is a paid promotion for Domino's and Minecraft Dungeons II. Posted six days ago, it added about 317,000 views in a day, roughly fourteen times its usual daily pace.

The joke is less about playing well than getting to play at all. Preston arrives carrying themed food boxes, then spends most of the sketch running errands while his friends have the controllers. By the time he returns, they're standing up to leave. His response is suitably deflated: "Oh, you guys are leaving? I just got here."

Minecraft has long been part of this channel's world: its most-watched regular upload is a collection of pranks for a little brother's Minecraft house. Under the pizza sketch, several commenters instead dwell on their own history with Preston, recalling watching him in 2020 or realizing they haven't seen one of his videos in years.
