Detention is Preston's ASMR practice room

Paper claws, a hidden microphone and a bendable keyboard turn school punishment into a whispered comedy sketch.

ASMR in school detention #roleplay

Preston checks that the teacher has stepped away, then reveals why he's landed in detention: "I get detention on purpose that way I can practice ASMR."

It's a staged school roleplay, with homework providing convenient cover for his real assignment. Paper claws from art class become tapping tools against an iPad case. A wooden brush sweeps across the microphone, and a flexible keyboard lets him look busy while making quite different use of the keys. Whenever the teacher approaches, the performance has to pause.

"ASMR in school detention #roleplay" was the most watched of Preston's ASMR's seven uploads this week, reaching roughly 126,000 views. In the comments, one viewer compares the microphone brushing to crackling fire; another singles out his look toward the viewer as he pulls the microphone closer.

School is becoming quite the setting for these whispered encounters. The nine-day-old "ASMR Kid on School Bus Gives you Tingles #roleplay" carries the strongest daily momentum, narrowly above his candy-chicken eating video. A new roleplay under the gym bleachers adds another hiding place to the timetable.

Away from school, the week brought marzipan tasting, a mouth-sound countdown and a collaboration with RyRyASMR. Their trigger assortment ranges from a Muay Thai glove to a Korn record, an agreeably odd pair of bedtime props.

The channel added 2,000 subscribers across the week, while daily viewing sits slightly above its usual level. Yes Plz ASMR and Kaitlyn Fall Asmr are having larger viewing weeks nearby; Preston's own mix remains distinctive, with school-day mischief alongside longer tapping and scratching sessions.
