Why this story? The channel went from 126,000 to 153,000 subscribers this week.

My dog collects human friends everywhere 🐶#dog#funnydog#friend#cute

Plumley.funnypets has added 27,000 subscribers in a week, with a sociable dog joining a lineup that makes room for some less conventional pets.

The newest upload bills its dog as a collector of human friends. Earlier entries offer a pig that thinks it belongs on a lap, a koala whose agenda consists of eucalyptus naps, and a binturong introduced with a popcorn-scented description. This is a clips channel gathering animal moments, rather than the adventures of one resident pet.

The jumping spider featured in our earlier story has also passed a million views. It is another small creature finding space in a collection whose most watched Shorts include a crab, gorillas and a breaching whale.

Daily channel views are now running at nearly three times their usual pace, extending the story beyond that single spider upload.
