Crazy Dave teaches Plants vs. Zombies a different language
A paper-and-pen comedy lesson joins a PvZ3 update welcoming German players into Early Access.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
POV: Crazy Dave is your language tutor
Asking for a taco apparently requires "Chum Chum Chum?" A hand slides a paper cover down a translation table, pairing ordinary English with Crazy Dave's unmistakable gibberish in "POV: Crazy Dave is your language tutor." This is a parody language lesson, complete with the heading "DON'T SAY THIS -> SAY THIZ."
The official Plants vs. Zombies channel posted three uploads this week, and Dave's teaching debut drew the largest audience, roughly 60,000 views. Viewers are practicing his vocabulary in the comments, proposing alternative translations and imagining the bigger-Peashooter line in a movie. One commenter hadn't realized this was the official account, which seems fitting for a publisher temporarily trading patch notes for nonsense syllables.
There were actual patch notes, too. "PvZ3 Title Update 2.0" announces new gameplay elements, ways to play and quality-of-life changes informed by player feedback. Its description also welcomes players in Germany into PvZ3 Evolved's Early Access on iOS and Android from October 14.
The newest upload, "Bro has one setting…," currently has the quickest daily viewing pace of the three, though Dave retains the largest total audience among this week's releases.
Across the channel, the week added roughly 462,000 views while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is currently below its usual level, a quieter picture than the busy weeks at fellow gaming channels Google Play and VALORANT Champions Tour. On this lawn, the week's most-watched new arrival was a language tutor whose curriculum includes asking whether Dr. Zomboss is really a doctor.

Thanks, Crazy Dave. I've always wanted to learn how to speak Crazy Dave. Also, why does 'We're gonna need a bigger Peashooter' genuinely sound like a line from the lost PvZ movie?
