Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I Wasn’t Supposed to Fall for My Straight Boss…EP 8

On a usual day Phantommaxx draws somewhere around 22,000 views. Right now it is closer to 7,000, and subscribers held exactly where they were, at 715,000. A slower stretch, then, but not an idle one: seven uploads went up, and three of them pushed his Brookhaven series a long way forward.

The series is "My Straight Boss Who Secretly Likes me," a boy love story acted out in Roblox's Brookhaven roleplay world. In episode 6, the boss asks Phantom to show his brother around town, a brother Phantom never knew existed. The description credits Noah Keawekane as the voice of Blaine. Episode 7 turns it into a secret date with that brother, and episode 8, "I Wasn't Supposed to Fall for My Straight Boss…EP 8," brings the story back to where it started.

The busiest upload was a short on the side, "When I can't sleep apparently." Its comment section reads like a slumber party: people describing the songs that loop in their heads at bedtime, one viewer still not over episode 8, and several asking for the next chapter as soon as possible. Anna, the character behind his second channel, Anna's World, also turned up with a new pet called Fluffy.

Among similar Roblox channels, bunhat had another enormous week and slob clan ran above its usual pace, while most of the others were quieter than normal. Phantommaxx gathered the fewest new views of the group, and he spent the week building his love story one episode at a time.
