Outdoor Tom posted just one video this week, "10 Days Fishing, Dog Sledding, & Exploring Alaska," and it came out strong, with nearly a million views before its first day was over. Four days in, it is doing almost all of the channel's work. As the title promises, the trip covers the water, the trails behind a dog team and whatever lies between.

It also has a clear older sibling. "4 Days Camping & Fishing Remote Alaskan Wilderness" went up two months ago and is still the next busiest video on the channel, and it has the bigger lifetime total of the two. Behind it sits a gentler, indoor detour, "Dad's office is full of cool stuff," which keeps collecting a steady trickle of views.

Even with a fresh upload, the channel as a whole drew well under half its usual daily views. Most of its outdoors and homesteading neighbors had a softer stretch too, from Off Grid w/ Jake & Nicolle to B2B Castaways. Field Days went the other way, running at about double its normal pace. For Outdoor Tom, the one new trip north is carrying the week.
