A photographer works in front of a black backdrop while Britain Lee poses, then breaks into laughter between shots. Nisha Noelle's new Short offers a brief look at her daughter's headshot session, with no spoken dialogue, just music accompanying the shoot.

The video drew an estimated 940,000 views in its first day, nearly eight times the usual opening for the channel's Shorts. It has since passed the million-view mark.

The edit cuts between the session and photographs of Alicia Silverstone and Reese Witherspoon, including a reference image from Clueless. But the behind-the-scenes action stays simple: a camera, a backdrop and pauses between poses.

For readers who have been following the family's Chipmunks lip-sync routines, this is a different kind of performance. Britain's headshot session replaces the costume routine with a glimpse of the work happening before the finished photographs.
