An 'employee of the year' mouse tops Julie Kobylarz's week

Three days old and already the busiest thing on Mousetales: "My little employee of the year!" has passed 400,000 views, and it is still moving at a clip that dwarfs everything else Julie Kobylarz posted in the week. The title keeps its star a secret, which feels right for a channel built on mice that rarely sit still for a camera.
Kobylarz, a licensed wildlife rehabber in Michigan, spent the rest of the week in two very different moods. There was Nubbins, a mouse whose brood has grown so large that the title asks someone else to do the counting, and a cat caught eyeing whatever was on the table. Then came two sharper uploads about accountability and "cruel, unnecessary suffering," titles that sound more like a rebuttal than a cute clip, and they drew smaller crowds.
The other video with real momentum is older. "Easily the craziest encounter in all my time as a rehabber!" is eight days old and nearing a million views, with a title that asks commenters to stay civil and says she will not identify who was involved.
Among pets and animals channels of similar size, Mousetales sits seventh of nine by subscribers, and Forrest Galante is the one pulling millions of views a day. Subscriber gains were flat here, but a mouse employee and a mystery encounter kept the channel busy anyway.
