"A DISGUSTING self defense strategy" was the only new upload on More Parz, the clips channel that collects moments from Parz's Twitch streams and bills itself simply as a place to come say hi. The title promises something gross. The description is more admiring: "SUCH a cool evolutionary strategy." Whatever the creature is, it had a big first day and has passed four million views in under a week.

The one doing the most work right now is older, though. "Australian Eagles are built DIFFERENT," three weeks old and past thirteen million views, is still a touch busier each day than the newcomer. Further back, "Satan's greatest Seal," whose description says it swam out of the seventh circle, is more than three months old and still pulls in a steady crowd. Parz's corner of the animal kingdom tends to be the strange, the fierce and the slightly unholy.

The channel is adding roughly ten thousand subscribers a day. Among pets and animals channels of similar size, it sits seventh by subscribers. Forrest Galante is the one drawing millions of views a day, at about his usual pace. Bass fishing Productions is running a little above its norm, and Raja and David are a bit quieter than usual.
