Four days old and already past 400,000 views, "We Bought a HUGE New Building!" is the video everyone on Snake Discovery wanted to see. The description does not give much away beyond the fact that the reptile business is expanding, and the tags promise a tour. For a channel that started as one naturalist's traveling reptile shows for schools and libraries, a second building is a real step.

The other two uploads were about new arrivals. "Some Gorgeous Bullsnakes Just Hatched!" shows the snow and white-sided babies from a snake called Elsa. "Scaleless Corn Snakes Hatching!!" went up at the very end of the week and was already past fifty thousand views.

The bigger hatching story is a little older. "Super Rare Indigo Snakes Hatching!!" is eleven days old and still moving briskly. The description calls these Eastern Indigos a federally protected species and a "holy grail" of the reptile world, finally bred at Snake Discovery. A late-summer trip to the Pokémon-themed SouthEast Reptile Expo in Atlanta keeps drawing a steady trickle behind it.

Subscribers kept arriving at a healthy clip. Among pets and animal channels of similar size, Snake Discovery sits sixth of nine. Bass fishing Productions is running a little above its usual pace, and Raja and David a little below theirs.
