A cash prize for every goal: Chuff's FC 27 challenge takes off
The newest of four uploads went up on October 2, after a launch-week run that played the new game until the first defeat.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Every FC27 Goal = Get $100
"Every FC27 Goal = Get $100" does what the title says: each goal scored in the new EA Sports FC 27 is worth a hundred dollars. It is the latest upload on More Chuff, the channel that calls itself the home of Chuff's EA FC content, and in its first fourteen hours it drew close to 200,000 views. No other video on the channel is moving nearly as fast.
It arrived at the end of a week built around the new game. "I Played FC 27 Until I Lost" opened things on September 26 and has since passed 800,000 views. Its comment section reads like a scrapbook of timestamps: one shot near the eight-minute mark has been crowned the greatest Haramball of all time, and another moment later on gets a cheeky question about loyalty to Ronaldo. The most liked comment just guesses that somebody, somewhere, is about to say "holy refresh."
In between came "Aguero is BACK in FC27!", a nod to the Manchester City striker whose last-gasp goal against QPR won the 2012 title, and a short called "I Was SO Close... 😲" that still carries tags from last year's game.
The channel picked up about 10,000 subscribers, and its daily views are right where they usually sit, which for More Chuff means a very busy normal. Among the sports and racing game channels near its size, none added more views over the week. bateson87 and AJ3 are running above their usual pace too, and TWOSYNC is having an unusually lively stretch.
