Adeyemi, Bremer and an 83+ pack: TWOSYNC's Bros RTG returns for episode two
Under the brothers' second co-op Ultimate Team episode, viewers who started watching in the FIFA 14 days are back, talking about fixed microphones, beans and a Karl Pilkington line.
TWOSYNCStory of Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 49,365 views a day, 15 times a normal first day on this channel (3,229).
WE ACTUALLY GOT HIM!!! (FC 27 BROS RTG #2)
A new TWOSYNC upload usually gathers a few thousand views across its whole first day. "WE ACTUALLY GOT HIM!!! (FC 27 BROS RTG #2)" passed 26,000 in nine hours. That puts it on course for about fifteen times that usual start, close to the pace the series opener set a day earlier, as we reported here.
Chris and Matt are the brothers behind the channel. In this episode they bring three new names into their shared FC 27 Ultimate Team squad: Karim Adeyemi, the quick German forward who made his name at Red Bull Salzburg, Alessio Cerci, the Italian winger remembered from Torino and Atlético Madrid, and Gleison Bremer, the Brazilian center-back. The chapters follow Adeyemi's debut in co-op Rivals, a rethink of the team when the games get harder, a final push for the Rivals rewards and an 83+ pack to close.
The comment section is half reunion. Several viewers say they have watched the brothers since FIFA 14 and still tune in years after they stopped buying the game. One writes that he started watching at high school and is about to start teaching high school students himself. Others note that the microphones are fixed, quote Matt's line about beans, and pick up his nod to An Idiot Abroad.
The rest of the channel ran on a different scale. Of the shorter clips the brothers posted the same day, "MATT FINDS THE CATCH IN LIVE UPGRADES" came closest, at around 15,000 views, while most sat near a thousand. The long co-op episodes are where the crowd is gathering.
