Marty arrives with a $3,000 Toyota Camry and a wonderfully unreasonable sales pitch: "the absolute best car money can buy, best performance car money can buy." Then he has to drive it.

Mighty Car Mods' "Toyota Camry NUGGET vs BYD: Budget Junk or EV Killer?" pits the old manual V6 against the BYD Atto 1, also known as the Seagull. The hosts present the electric hatchback as Australia's cheapest new car. Their question is less about buying the future than buying well: what does a new EV offer that a marketplace bargain doesn't?

The comparison has already drawn more than 100,000 views in its opening hours. Its viewing pace points toward a first-day audience roughly nine times the channel's usual start. After the Honda N-One comparison we reported here, BYD now gets a very different used-car alternative.

Looks and engine noise get their own rounds before the driving tests begin. The Camry takes the standing-start drag race, but the BYD edges ahead when they accelerate from a rolling start. Braking and cone courses make this more than an exhaust-note popularity contest. The hosts also explicitly say the comparison isn't sponsored content.

Several commenters discuss an apparent replacement upload and an added ending. Others bring their own Camry history: a showroom car borrowed for prom night, or a neighbor's car remembered from childhood school rides.
