Matt has vehicles to shuffle before he can get back to the engine work. Scrap bodies, rolling chassis and a salvaged Loadside pickup all need somewhere to go beneath the outdoor shade structure, with the crew and a telehandler sharing the heavy lifting.

That shop-and-yard vlog, "This Is A DISASTER… You're Not Going To Like It!", was Matt's Off Road Recovery's most-watched new upload of the week, reaching roughly 567,000 views. It includes a sponsored work-boot segment, but the mechanical thread is Matt's Corvair Spyder experiment: higher-ratio rocker arms on the exhaust valves, followed by a test drive with Trevor and the crew.

"It's definitely peppier. I'm building boost sooner," Matt says on the road. Back in the shop, the enthusiasm comes with a problem to solve: the engine runs short of fuel at high revs. An adapted Holley fuel bowl gets its turn in the investigation. Meanwhile, viewers are asking for a closer look at Katelynn's rig and more footage of her driving at events; others single out Matt reading Laura's book to the crew.

The other uploads returned to getting stranded vehicles moving: a side-by-side buried after Utah flooding and an enormous RV stuck in mud. The RV recovery is drawing the most views per day right now, followed by the side-by-side. A month-old fire-truck recovery also remains busy.

The channel added about 10,000 subscribers over the week, and daily viewing is running around half again above its usual pace. Between recovery calls, Matt and Trevor also find time to discuss the Great Western Fan Belt Toss in Palm Springs, a suitably Corvair-centered prospect for this particular shop conversation.

I don’t think I could ever be bored no matter how many times Matt says it’s boring. I don’t know much about cars but I still have a slightly mechanical brain and I could listen to Matt talk all day. I would like to see more videos of Katelyn doing events. We do the same sort of thing in the UK, but in woodland. Mud, bogs and trees.
