These Mud Flats Are Too Dangerous for Anyone…

Matt's Off Road Recovery put up three videos, and together they cover the full range of the channel. There is a Toyota "High Centered In The Worst Place Possible," mud flats the title calls too dangerous for anyone, and a Chevy project going by the name Sweet Caroline, headed for a Baja-style build. The channel is known for pulling stranded vehicles out of the desert around southern Utah, and two of the three are exactly that.

The mud flats video had the biggest opening and is still the most watched of the week. Sweet Caroline, posted two days later and billed with the claim that Chevy made a huge mistake, is now drawing views at almost exactly the same daily rate. The Toyota, the oldest of the three, has slowed to a gentle trickle. Just behind the new uploads sits a ten-day-old video explaining why Matt no longer uses the Morrvair, one of his better-known rigs, and it is still getting a steady audience.

In his corner of motorbike, off-road and motorsport channels, NASCAR was running above its usual pace. Most of the others, from FortNine to Rockstar Harley, were drawing less than they normally do.
