Lee Mason recovers all three bullets from the gel, and the little mushrooms become the talking point. His Remington Golden Bullet test was Mason Leather Outdoors' most-watched new upload, reaching roughly 23,000 views.

The test uses a customized Ruger 10/22, with Mason examining penetration, expansion, retained weight and velocity. He reports no feeding or jamming issues during the three-shot test, then lays out the recovered bullets and measurements. His verdict is favorable, though the appeal is in seeing the results rather than simply hearing a recommendation.

The comments bring a long memory to an ordinary box of ammunition. Viewers describe using Golden Bullet for decades, compare experiences across their own rifles and ask for a compilation once the individual bulk-ammunition tests are finished. One says these were tests they hadn't realized they wanted.

I have shot a dump truck load of these in my life. I can remember in the '60s & 70s, they were my go to hunting ammo. There is better ammo available now, but the price is higher. This is quite satisfactory for my typical hunting sebario.

My old savage mark ii F loved these, it was to first brick of ammo i fed it. That was 15yrs ago but now I dusted it off and recently treated it to CCi velocitors which it likes too.
