Marvel revisits the Avengers' snowy mission and Cap's language warning

The Age of Ultron opening joins a new Doomsday promo and Jane Foster's fighting-game reveal among the channel's uploads.

  1. 0:00The Avengers attack a fortified HYDRA base in a snowy forest.
  2. 0:48The team leaps across the battlefield together in slow motion.
  3. 1:00Tony hits the fortress's energy shield, and Captain America objects to his language.
  4. 2:59Pietro catches Hawkeye off guard before bunker fire wounds him.
  5. 4:26Captain America and Thor combine shield and hammer against approaching soldiers.

Captain America can handle a HYDRA assault. Tony Stark swearing over the comms, apparently, requires an intervention. Marvel Entertainment's most-watched upload of the week returns to the snowy opening of Avengers: Age of Ultron, with the original team in motion and Steve Rogers supplying his famously prim "Language!"

The official film clip has reached about 2.2 million views. It packs in the synchronized leap, Pietro Maximoff catching Hawkeye off guard and Thor and Captain America combining hammer and shield. In the comments, viewers keep returning to the pleasure of seeing the original six on an ordinary mission, ordinary by Avengers standards. Others have a practical question: why didn't Cap use that shield-retrieving magnet more often?

There was plenty beyond the archive scene among the week's fifteen uploads. "Avengers: Doomsday | In Theaters December 18" arrived Sunday and drew nearly two million views in four hours. Jane Foster was revealed as a winter DLC addition to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, while a Moon Knight compilation explored the show's Egyptian mythological characters.

Marvel remains the largest channel by subscribers among the studio peers here and had the group's largest weekly view gain. Its subscriber count was unchanged, however, and daily viewing is running below its usual pace, as it is for Universal Pictures and Warner Bros.

Vision supplies the channel's strongest ongoing momentum. His self-narrated MCU history from VisionQuest, posted before this week's uploads, continues to draw far more daily views than the snowy Avengers mission. Alongside it, Paul Bettany's new WandaVision reflection brings the focus back from fortress-smashing to Wanda and Vision's love story.
