Paul Bettany's Vision look-back makes it three VisionQuest standouts
The actor walks through his years in the role ahead of the October 14 Disney+ premiere, and his video opened at about ten times a typical Marvel debut.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 736,319 views a day, 10 times a normal first day on this channel (71,702).

Now the actor himself. A premiere-date announcement and then a premiere video have taken turns at the top of Marvel Entertainment's channel. The latest VisionQuest upload to break away is a short piece with Paul Bettany, and it started at roughly ten times the pace a new video here usually manages.
That is a real jump for a channel that already runs on millions of views a day. "Paul on Vision" is billed as Bettany decoding his Marvel journey as the character and teasing his return in the new series.
That journey began before Vision had a body. Bettany first voiced J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony Stark's AI assistant, starting with Iron Man in 2008. He stepped into Vision's red-and-green form in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, and he carried the role into WandaVision, the first Marvel Studios series made for Disney+. VisionQuest puts the character at the center of a show of his own, and in this video the man who has played him for more than a decade gets to tell that story himself.
