Past 3.5 billion, Lionsgate pours Johnny Depp a Day Drinker

Day Drinker (2027) Official Teaser – Johnny Depp, Madelyn Cline, and Penélope Cruz
Lionsgate Movies has passed 3.5 billion lifetime views, and a bartender on a private yacht did a good share of the pushing. The official teaser for Day Drinker went up five days ago and is already beyond 11 million views. Madelyn Cline, best known from Outer Banks, plays the bartender. Johnny Depp is the mysterious guest on board, and Penélope Cruz is the criminal figure who tangles them both up. The tags credit Marc Webb, the director of (500) Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man. The teaser is still pulling in far more each day than anything else the studio posted.
That was one of a dozen uploads. A short titled only "Don't you sometimes want to misbehave?" opened loudly and has since gone quiet. Two MovieSphere+ trailers are still gaining. Youngblood, a new take on the 1986 hockey film about a Detroit prodigy chasing the NHL, picked up speed after a slow first day. Beware Boiúna, the Amazon creature feature due in theaters October 2, is warming up too, and its day-old clip "Do the Honors" is already among the channel's busiest.
Among film studio channels, Harry Potter and Rotten Tomatoes Coming Soon are both running above their usual pace. Lionsgate sits fifth of nine by subscribers.
