Maizen's new scripted Minecraft adventure, "JJ Pretended to Be a BABY CAT on an OP One Chunk!", has drawn about 706,000 views in its first twelve hours. The mission is to defeat the Ender Dragon on a single-chunk map, but the more immediate challenge is keeping Mikey, Banana Kid and their self-appointed leader Buu moving in the same direction.

Buu objects to the adoption from the start. "I hate rainbows, and I hate cats!" he announces. That leaves JJ helping from the sidelines: supplying Mikey with an iron pickaxe, tossing a rainbow cloud beneath him after a fall, and turning lava into rainbow blocks when another excavation goes wrong.

The disguise gives the episode its running joke. The smallest member of the party keeps doing the rescuing, while Buu talks as though victory will be entirely his achievement. When skeletons swarm, the cat has a black hole ready.

Buu's leadership also comes with material privileges. Mikey and Banana Kid build a dirt shelter while he constructs a wooden house; later, their missing metals and diamonds turn up in his much grander home and personal armor. JJ's rainbow sheep, beds and instant-growing crops give the other two something Buu isn't offering: practical help.
