He Could Sleep Through Anything?!

Answering the front door wasn't supposed to be the complicated part. In Harper's telling, her sister Reese came home with friends, and Harper's crush followed them inside.

The LOL Podcast conversation, posted by LOL Clips as "He Could Sleep Through Anything?!", drew around 22,000 views in nine hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short.

Harper explains why the arrival caught her off guard: Reese and the boy had previously kissed at a graduation party. Now Reese was proposing that he spend the night, with a mattress in her room.

Harper had an alternative. "No, he'll sleep on the couch, or in my room," she recalls saying, before quickly adding, "No, I'm kidding." The co-hosts laugh, while Cash imagines how awkward the whole situation must have been for the visitor.

Then came the practical problem: moving a mattress upstairs without waking Harper's mother. The noise woke her, prompting questions about the unexpected guest. According to Harper, her mother ultimately agreed he could sleep on the upstairs couch.
