That’s mom’s Dress!That’s mom’s Dress!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 have spotted a household disaster: the Cat is cleaning a painted wall with Mom's dress. Last Laugh Podcast trades conversation for costumes in "That's mom's Dress!", a Short built around audio from The Cat in the Hat.

This is a lip-synced comedy sketch, not a scene of genuine family outrage. Two performers in red jumpsuits and blue wigs supply the horrified objections, while a third wears the Cat's striped hat, face paint and red bow tie. The complaint is practical: Mom planned to wear that dress tonight. The Cat is considerably less concerned.

The audio comes from the live-action film starring Mike Myers, whose Cat turns household mischief into gleefully bad manners. Here, the performers recreate the exchange rather than retell it.

The Short's opening views already dwarf the tens of thousands a usual Last Laugh Short draws across its entire first day. Among the channel's other uploads that day were "Who is Jakey??" and ""If She Ever Gets One"", but the costume sketch has drawn by far the largest audience of the three.
