“Portland is back on the map!" 🔥 #KevinGarnett #MattBarnes

Scoot Henderson doesn't have to carry everything. In KG Certified's Portland discussion, the suggestion is more specific: embrace a bench role and aim for Sixth Man of the Year.

That's part of the case Kevin Garnett and Matt Barnes make for a Blazers team featuring Damian Lillard, Ja Morant and Deni Avdija. The opening question on screen is straightforward: "IS PORTLAND FOR REAL?" Their answer rests less on a single star than on having enough capable guards to withstand relentless defensive pressure.

Garnett points to San Antonio and Oklahoma City as the kind of opponents that demand a deep backcourt. Portland, he argues, has the personnel for small ball. The conversation also credits Avdija with helping change the team's culture, while Lillard's return takes pressure off Henderson and Morant. There's encouragement for Morant's work on his jumper, too.

The Short drew an estimated 86,000 views in its first day, more than six times the channel's usual Shorts start. The comments extend the roster discussion: viewers bring up Holiday, compare the Lillard-Morant pairing with Lillard's years alongside CJ McCollum, and single out a Henderson and-one highlight.

Others take a longer view. One Portland supporter reaches back to the Rasheed Wallace and Damon Stoudamire era to explain the feeling this lineup brings back.
