Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The Russian Sleep Experiment Deep Dive

A million views have gathered around a nightmare that never happened. "The Russian Sleep Experiment Deep Dive" is Kallmekris's most watched new upload of the week, and its description makes the distinction explicit: this is graphic fictional storytelling, not an account of a real experiment.

Kris credits author OrangeSoda, with Jason-Christopher Mayer editing. In the comments, the opening gets almost as much discussion as the horror story: viewers describe a silent stare followed by a jump scare, then point to Kevin startling Kris in return. There is also a running appreciation of her ability to hold completely motionless.

The week's other upload, "The Case That STUMPED Police For 45 Years," returns to true crime. It reached roughly 225,000 views in its first half-day and currently has the strongest daily momentum of her videos. The Russian Sleep Experiment follows, with the older "The ACTUAL Lizzie Borden Case VS The New SLOP Show" also drawing viewers.

Across the channel, daily viewing is well below its usual pace, while subscribers were unchanged over seven days. Nearby storytelling channel MrBallen is also experiencing slower daily viewing; Bailey Sarian is above her usual pace. For Kris, the newest police mystery is now the most active part of a week split between invented horror and real-case storytelling.

You’re pretty good at holding absolutely still. You would probably survive a tyrannosaurus encounter.
