Hero Family Dog Saves Kid From Neighbor’s Dog...
The family dog reaches the charging dog before the adults can intervene. In home security footage shared by Catching Killers, it intercepts another dog on the lawn, briefly fights it and drives it back toward the street.
The Short, titled "Hero Family Dog Saves Kid From Neighbor's Dog...", follows the encounter through the immediate aftermath. A woman comes outside and lifts the child into her arms while the other dog's owner retrieves his animal.
It is a departure from the channel's recent run of police encounters and robbery footage: here, the intervention happens in a front yard rather than during an arrest or investigation.
The upload drew roughly 52,000 views in its first 14 hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short. Its comment section also grew several times larger than a typical first day's.
The footage ends with a check on the child, not a definitive account of injuries. Asked, "Is the baby okay?", the mother replies, "I think so."
