Kai Cenat went live from the back of a vehicle for his second stream of the day and kept the introduction short: "This most likely will be my last Japan stream, so let's get right into it." Half a day later, "JAPAN NIGHT STREAM🇯🇵" had about 1.7 million views, more than four times what his long streams usually gather in a full first day.
He sprays on YSL cologne, walks a Tokyo street, stops for photos with people who recognize him and announces he is heading "to the bar real quick." The bar is Muscle Girls Bar, and its bartenders, Tomo and Sara, live up to the name. "Why is everybody brolic in here?" he asks, shortly before a protein shake arrives as his welcome drink.
The house has its own economy. Reps on a chest press machine earn "muscle dollars," which buy extras such as slaps or kicks. Kai orders a giant mug of green apple sour (it "tastes like juice," he decides) and picks the "freshly squeezed performance." That means taking off his shirt while the staff, chanting, squeeze fruit over his chest and face. He ends up running off to rinse citrus out of his eyes.
Then the lights drop, the staff dance in sync on top of the counter, and one of them performs an acrobatic pole routine above it. "I feel like I'm in a fever dream, bro," Kai says, and a few minutes later he admits: "I genuinely thought this was a normal bar, bro."
The bar is only the first chapter of a stream that runs for hours. In the comments, a roadside stretch nearly two hours in, with the exhaust of a Nissan GT-R R35 roaring past, gets as much attention as the dancing, and others describe tuning in just as the cameraman was running off. The channel has also cut the trip into shorter uploads, among them "I Went To The Weirdest Bar In Japan..." and "Driving The CRAZIEST Cars In Japan!", while two clips from earlier in October, one in which Kai is done with Stable Ronaldo and one recreating his viral meme over seafood, have each passed a million views.
