CouRage's moon-cleaning pledge returns with BasicallyIDoWrk
A faster-starting stream accompanies a sharp rise in channel views as the lunar assignment gets another outing.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 584,077 views a day, 12 times a normal day (48,245).
NOT ENDING STREAM TILL WE CLEAN THE MOON w/ BASICALLYIDOWRK
The promise has changed from "I" to "we," but CouRage still isn't putting down the cleaning equipment. After October's lunar-cleanup stream with BasicallyIDoWrk, two more uploads carry the same commitment: "NOT ENDING STREAM TILL WE CLEAN THE MOON w/ BASICALLYIDOWRK".
The November 2 stream drew roughly 270,000 views in its first day, several times the usual opening audience for his long streams. Another upload under that title followed the next day. This is becoming a recurring assignment rather than a single visit.
Across the channel, daily views have climbed to around 584,000, more than twelve times their usual level. The fast-starting stream is part of that picture, though the channel-wide jump cannot be attributed to it alone.
There is a familiar collaborator behind the lunar job: BasicallyIDoWrk is Marcel Cunningham, the Marcel named alongside Ninja and Lupo in CouRage's most-watched regular upload, a Fortnite no-kill challenge from 2018. The assignment has changed considerably since then.
