Johnny Ringer screws a pair of pink rails onto the underside of his skateboard, then returns to the obstacles he has just tried without them. The revealing test isn't the normal rail. It's a rough painted ledge, where the added strips help him slide smoothly along.

In "What do skateboard deck rails even do?! #skateboarding #skate #sk8 #shorts", Johnny also tests bowl coping and finds the board feels more stable with the rails attached. His verdict comes with a small practical bonus: they make the skateboard easier to carry, too.

That experiment, posted more than five months ago, is the strongest daily draw among his active videos, adding roughly 42,000 views a day. No new uploads arrived this week, but the archive brought in nearly 1.9 million views. Daily viewing is currently well above his usual level, while his subscriber count stayed unchanged.

For friendly context, Cole Trotta had a larger viewing week, while Meandmygolf had a quieter one. Johnny's own mix remains distinctly hands-on: the peculiar skatepark featured here last month is continuing to draw views, and his opening of blind-bag Pokémon Santa Cruz skateboards is active as well. Between collectible decks and pink plastic rails, there's more than one way to get curious about a board.
